Weinquartier Burggarten
Landskroner Str. 63, 53474 Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Germany
Hotel description
The Burggarten winery in Heppingen, near the district town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, is a traditional winery that has been in existence since 1898 and is run by four generations of the winegrowing family. It is located at the foot of the legendary Landskrone and is dedicated to combining tradition and innovation in viticulture.
The estate's wines, including well-known varieties such as Pinot Noir and Dornfelder, are matured almost exclusively in wooden barrels in the historic quarry stone vaulted cellar of the former Heppingen winegrowers' association. This approach has earned the Burggarten winery the coveted State Prize of Honor several times in recent years, a testament to the high quality of its products.
In addition to the winery, the family also runs Weinquartier Burggarten, a guest house with 14 unusual themed rooms. Guests can stay in rooms such as the "Burgunder Domizil", the "Domina Kammer" or the "Weißburgunder-Gelass" and indulge in a sumptuous vintner's breakfast. The Weinquartier offers an unmistakable winery atmosphere, combined with the highest level of comfort and an individual family touch.
For wine lovers, the Burggarten wine estate also offers exclusive wine tastings in various rooms, whether in the cozy winegrower's parlor, the unique tower or the mysterious treasure chamber.
