The wine hotel "Zum Grünen Kranz" invites you to experience the Rheingau in the heart of Rüdesheim. Just a few steps away from the famous Drosselgasse, the hotel is located in the heart of the Rheingau wine landscape and the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site. The family behind the "Grüner Kranz" is proud to combine modern hospitality with tradition. In the comfortably furnished rooms, which range from classic to modern, you can experience the diversity of the region. The hotel offers the perfect starting point for hikes, bike tours and excursions to cultural sights.
At reception, which is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., you can get tips and assistance with booking tickets for cable cars, boat trips or local public transport. Here you can discover the Rheingau with all its facets.
In the wine restaurant "Friedrichs Wine & Dine", the focus is on regional wines such as the famous Rheingau Riesling and Pinot Noir, accompanied by seasonal dishes. Traditional recipes are interpreted in a modern way and regional products such as Wisper trout or game specialties are served here. The restaurant is open daily from 12 noon to 10 pm, and you can relax in the "chill out" area at the wine tasting stand from 11 am to 10 pm.
In the Rheingau Wine Depot you will find an extensive selection of wines, sparkling wines, brandies and other specialties from the region. The Vinothek at Oberstraße 53 is open daily from 11 am to 7 pm and offers wine tastings, group tastings as well as guided wine hikes and bike tours through the picturesque wine landscape.
The Rheingau is ideal for exploring on foot or by bike. The hotel offers rental bikes, e-bikes and Nordic walking poles, as well as food packages for on the go. Alternatively, you can also book a boat trip or an excursion by cable car and discover the beauty of the region in comfort.
