The Koppenhöfer winery in Löwenstein, idyllically situated between vineyards and orchards in the Rittelhof district, can look back on an impressive winemaking tradition dating back to 1868. For five generations, the Koppenhöfer family has devoted itself to viticulture with dedication and passion. The winery attaches great importance to traditional cellar management, in particular methods such as mash fermentation and biological acid reduction, which give the wines and sparkling wines their unmistakable character.
The Koppenhöfer winery recently celebrated its 150th anniversary and a special red wine cuveé was created for this special occasion, which impresses with notes of barriques and finely integrated tannins.
In addition to wine production, the winery also offers a selection of fine distillates from its own distillery. Guests and customers can visit the winery during opening hours to replenish their wine stock or have the wines delivered directly to their homes. The winery attaches great importance to the safety and health of its guests and therefore asks that they observe the current hygiene and social distancing rules.
