The st. martin estate is a traditional winery with a long history. It was founded at the end of the 18th century when the Hundt von Saulheimsche Hof came into the possession of the Valentin Schneider family. The current version of the winery goes back to Oskar Heinrich Schneider, whose son Albert Valentin Schneider took over the winery in the second generation. Today, the winery is run by Stephan Schneider in the third generation and his sons Christian and Florian in the fourth generation.

100% in-house production is the philosophy of the winery. All grapes are grown in the estate's own vineyards and the wines are vinified in the estate's own winery. This ensures that all wines can be labeled as "estate bottled", which guarantees the highest quality and traceability. The transparency of the origin and the analytical values create trust in the regionally influenced wines of the winery.

The winery is located on the outskirts of St. Martin, surrounded by a spacious, park-like area of around 8000 square meters. This environment invites you to relax and enjoy. Guests can start the day here with a breakfast buffet, which includes sparkling wine from the estate. A walk leads to the wine taverns and wine taverns in the village as well as to the historic Renaissance building of the winery, where wine tastings are offered in the vaulted cellar. E-bikes are available to explore the hilly wine landscape in comfort. In the afternoon, guests can enjoy coffee and cake in the hotel and sample the estate's wines and sparkling wines in the wine shop on the lower floor of the hotel.

The hotel's restaurant serves homemade dishes made from seasonal and regional ingredients. The combination of wine and food is recommended by trained service staff. The vinotheque is a popular meeting place for guests and wine lovers, who can enjoy the more than 80 wines and sparkling wines on offer both in convivial company and on their own.

Wines

• The estate wines: a high quality wine made from grape varieties typical of the region and vinified in the traditional Palatinate style. The grapes for these wines come from various vineyards on our estate.
• The single vineyard wines: The taste of these single-vineyard wines: the white wines tend to be light and fruity, the red wines fruity and characterized by ageing in wooden barrels. The grapes come from classified single vineyards in the St. Martiner Schloss Ludwigshöhe and Maikammerer Mandelhöhe sites.
• The terroir wines: Wines with a pure, varietal flavor. Facts: Must weight min. 90° Öchsle, alcohol min. 12% vol. The terroir wines are characterized by a long shelf life. The grapes come from delimited parcels of high-quality individual vineyards. These parcels are often congruent with the historical names of small vineyards. They each have a uniform soil structure for which the most suitable grape variety is selected.
